Global Missions & Evangelism Ministry

Global Missions

In 2011-2013, for every dollar that Kings Point received, eighteen per cent was given to Mission Ministries. Kings Point supports the following world mission ministries:

Kings Point’s Missionary, Arlene Miller, is a missionary to South America. Kings Point proudly provides for Sister Miller’s salary.

Todd and Rhonda Taylor, missionaries to Paraguay, work with children at school and feeding program dedicated to the “Children of the Dump”; children who live in and around the garbage dump of the capitol city of Asuncion. Todd and Rhonda started their ministry at Kings Point.

Kings Point is presently involved in “Plant 12 churches in 2012” through the Surge Global Church Planting Intiative. Each month Surge partners give to a different church plant project by providing the church planter’s salary for one year. Through “Plant 12 in 2012” churches have been planted in Cuba, China, Southeast Asia, and West Africa.

Kings Point also networks with other Ohio Churches of God to give $400,000 each year to countries in South America. This year’s project is Brazil where churches in Ohio will work together to plant 1000 churches throughout the nation.

In 2011-2012, Kings Point has adopted the Turks of Turkey as our UPG (Unreached People Group). As a congregation, we have committed ourselves to intercede in prayer for the 51 million Turks who have not heard the gospel of Jesus Christ preached. We believe that through our prayers and those of other congregations, the Turks of Turkey will be evangelized and disciples will be made for Jesus Christ.
